Co-Production with France

This grant supports international co-production of feature-length films between France and other countries worldwide. The grant offers both pre- and post-filming support and is awarded selectively based on project potential and alignment with its objectives.

Benefits

Requirements

  • Projects must be feature-length fiction, animation, or creative documentaries with a runtime over one hour.
  • Films must be co-produced by a production company established in France and an international partner.
  • Pre-filming applications must be submitted before production begins, and post-filming applications are restricted to projects not selected for pre-filming support.
  • Directors must be foreign nationals (exceptions apply for French directors under specific conditions).
  • Films exceeding a €2,500,000 budget require CNC certification.

Who Can Apply

  • French production companies partnered with international co-producers.
  • Directors with foreign nationality or, in exceptional cases, French directors producing non-French language films.
  • Producers submitting no more than one application per session for the same project.
