Sell Film on Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime licenses professionally produced, feature-length movies and TV shows that have been theatrically released, broadcast on a major TV network or selected by a major film festival.

With Prime Video Direct, you have the opportunity to make your content available in select marketplaces, including the US, UK, Germany, Austria, and Japan.

Even if a title has one or more of these attributes, Prime Video may still choose not to license it. Conversely, Prime Video may choose to license a limited number of titles that haven't been in theaters, broadcast, or selected by a major festival. Content isn't licensed indefinitely and may be removed at any time at the sole discretion of Prime Video.

All titles undergo manual and automated reviews before a licensing decision is made (this review can take up to three weeks). Please note submission of your content doesn't guarantee that your title will be selected for licensing or published by a given date.

Prime Video Direct doesn't accept unsolicited licensing submissions for content with the "Included with Prime" (SVOD) offer type.

Prime Video Direct will continue to help rights holders offer fictional titles for rent/buy (TVOD) through Prime Video.

At this time Amazon Prime does not accept short film or documentaries.

Submission Notes
It's going to be tough to get Prime Video to accept your film unless you come with a large catalogue. The delivery requirements are very precise, so check their approved list of aggregators for technical details.
