MIPJunior Project Pitch Competition

A competition for preschool (3-6) content creators worldwide seeking project funding and collaboration opportunities.

Eligibility

To participate in the MIPJUNIOR Pitch competition, your project must meet the following criteria:

Project Stage:

  • Early Stage: Projects that are 0% to 25% financed.
  • In Development: Projects that are 25% to 75% financed.
  • Target Audience: The content should be aimed at preschool children aged 3-6 years.

Content Requirements:

  • Genres: Entertainment content of all genres is eligible.
  • Creativity & Originality: Projects must showcase innovative storytelling techniques, distinctive characters, unique visual styles, and compelling themes.
  • Worldwide Appeal: The project should have the potential to resonate with a global audience.

Commercial Potential:

  • TV and Multi-Platform Extension: Projects should have the potential for adaptation across various platforms, including television and digital media.
  • Licensing & Merchandising: The content should be suitable for development into merchandise and licensing opportunities.

Meaningful Content:

  • Diversity & Inclusion: Projects should demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to diversity and inclusion, representing various cultures, communities, and perspectives.
  • Mental Health: Content should promote positive mental health messages and themes appropriate for young children.
  • Sustainability: The project should incorporate themes of sustainability, teaching children about environmental stewardship and responsible living.

Finalist and Winner Benefits

  • Visibility: Finalists gain exposure during the live pitch session and through MIPJUNIOR's communication channels, including their website, social media, and preview magazine.
  • Free Registration: One free registration to MIPJUNIOR for the finalist.
  • Editorial Coverage: The winning project receives editorial coverage on the MIPJUNIOR website and one free entrance to MIPJUNIOR.
