Open to eligible completed films submitted through an online screener platform with a valid viewing link. Only complete submissions are considered, previous submissions are not eligible, and submission fees are non-refundable.
The festival gives preference to films with strong premiere status, particularly those holding at least a New York premiere, and also prefers films that have not previously screened locally. Preference is also given to emerging filmmakers and to films with limited prior US festival exposure and no announced US distribution.
Non-English-language films must include English subtitles, and all rights for music and exhibition must be fully cleared. Rough cuts and works in progress may be submitted, but only one version of each film will be considered. If selected, films must be delivered in DCP for exhibition.
