To support emerging documentary filmmakers committed to the craft of making documentaries, who has demonstrated that commitment by several years, but no more than ten of practical film or video experience. Applicants must live and work in California, Oregon, or Washington.
Each year £80,000 will be awarded to a new director with the most promising pitch for an authored documentary which fulfils the core criteria of the foundation and can be completed for screening with this award.
